Crisis Management: 02. Preparing for Crises

Manage crises by planning for the worst and being prepared with the lessons learned through this course, Preparing For Crises. In this course, we will review why you need a plan to deal with a crisis, and how doing so will reduce risk, minimize damage and save lives. We’ll cover the three main categories of hazards - natural, man-made and technological - and provide examples of the types of crises that could occur. Finally, the course will stress the necessity of having an Emergency Response Plan, a Crisis Communication Plan and an IT Disaster Recovery Plan, and will explain what is involved in each.
