The OSHA has specific rules around certain accidents and illnesses in the workplace, as we will review in this elearning course, Special Cases. In this course we will review the four areas that OSHA identifies as special cases: needle stick injuries, medical removal, hearing loss, and tuberculosis diagnosis. We will also look at the requirements within these areas and give examples on the best practices of recordkeeping for each. Finally, we will discuss exceptions to each of these special cases that OSHA takes into consideration around recordkeeping and reporting.
