The majority of people promoting the idea of colorblindness are white and do not fully understand that this concept actually undermines people of color and dismisses their lived experience. In this course, we will explain systemic racism and why colorblindness, while a beautiful dream, is not our present reality. We will also discuss alternatives to colorblindness, how to better educate yourself when it comes to racial discrimination, and things you can do to be actively anti-racist in the workplace and beyond. This course includes a video presentation and downloadable student materials for future reference.
