Driving Safety: Substance Abuse – 04. How Do I Know if Someone is Impaired?

This course, Driving Safety: Substance Abuse – 04. How Do I Know if Someone is Impaired?, trains supervisors to recognize the signs of drug abuse as required by the Omnibus Transportation Employee Testing Act. It is a supervisor’s responsibility to recognize the symptoms of drug abuse in their staff and initiate testing. In this course, you’ll learn about the five controlled substances that the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) regulates, and you’ll discover how to recognize the signs that an employee may be under the influence while on the job or in his or her recreational time.
