Having Powerful, Advanced Conversations

Conversation is difficult to master, and you’re hoping to improve your in-person talks into deeper, more memorable experiences. This course, led by Dr. Alyssa Lowery, professor at Vanderbilt University, will explain how to have a good conversation. She’ll teach tactics to advance conversations, questions to ask, and what and how to use the Socratic Method. You’ll learn six methods to help you see truth, and to build and maintain your integrity during discourse. Seeing a person emote during conversation will help you identify how they feel about certain topics and you’ll learn to recognize your feelings, too. You’ll learn how to move past disagreements and how to recognize dishonesty. You’ll finish with the talent to politely end a conversation. Upon completion, you will be confident in your ability to lead great conversations.
