Hand and Power Tool Safety: Preparing Your Tools and Station

When it comes to manually powered hand tools and power tools, most injuries occur from tool misuse or improper maintenance. In our Preparing Your Tools and Station course, we will review proper use, safety and maintenance procedures. We discuss the correct way to prepare your workstation, go over appropriate PPE options you should have at hand, and share some do’s and don’ts when it comes to choosing the clothing you’ll wear when working with tools. We’ll also cover the importance of tool maintenance and the safety checks you should be making prior to getting started.
