Supervision: Concerned Conversations

In this Concerned Conversations course, you’ll learn how to discuss with employees their sub-standard work or errors so they can work at improving their performance. In this course we introduce a 5-step method for communicating what the employee needs to do to fix the problem and when the fix must be accomplished. You’ll learn what you should do if the employee continues in his/her failure to meet expectations. We provide helpful dialogue and tips on proper body language for each conversation.

The course consists of a brief video with a short multiple choice quiz at the end to test your comprehension of the material. For easy reference, you’ll also find a downloadable document summarizing key points. This is part of our larger series on Supervision.
