Anti-Harassment for Bystanders: 02. Bystanders and the Bystander Effect

In the Bystanders and the Bystander Effect, we’ll break down your role and responsibilities as a bystander to sexual harassment in the workplace. First, we’ll provide a definition of a bystander and your moral obligations when you see, hear, or otherwise become aware of a harassment situation. Next, you’ll learn when it is appropriate to intervene and help a target of sexual harassment. We’ll also cover the Bystander Effect and other reasons that keep people from intervening, and how to overcome them.

The second part in our Anti-Harassment for Bystanders series, this course is delivered in the form of a video with narration and helpful illustrations throughout.
