Using a series of real-world examples, our Driving Safety: Alcohol Abuse – 03. Who Should I Test? course illustrates when it’s necessary to carry out an alcohol test on an employee and how to do so under Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. The course discusses the types of alcohol tests a supervisor will facilitate in compliance with their organization’s DOT mandated testing program. We’ll cover reasonable suspicion, post-accident, random, return-to-duty, and follow-up testing. Requirements for documentation and communication surrounding testing are also included.
