Child Abuse and Neglect: California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act

Incidents of child abuse and neglect are horrendous, and in this elearning course, California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act, we will review how the Act protects children from such abuse. The course looks at CANRA and the existing laws around reporting suspected abuse, and covers definitions of abuse, neglect and reasonable suspicion within the Act. We will also look at what mandated reporters are and their unique responsibilities around reporting and training, as well as the legal consequences of failing to do so.
