Lending Laws

Consumers are protected when borrowing money through a number of laws, as we will review in this elearning course, Lending Laws. In this course we will look at the laws Congress originally passed during the ’60s and ’70s including the Fair Housing Act (FHA), the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) and the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA). We will discuss lending laws, and who and what they apply to, giving you a solid understanding of your rights and responsibilities under the law.
