In this Florida Human Trafficking Awareness and Prevention for Apartment Staff course, viewers will learn more about their duties under Florida law. Human trafficking is a form of modern-day slavery that exploits people for forced labor or commercial sex. Under Florida law, apartment community employees have certain requirements that they, and their workplace, must adhere to regarding the awareness and prevention of human trafficking. In this course, we will explain what those rules are, including establishing and taking training, providing signage and reporting suspected trafficking. We’ll also discuss what you should look out for, as well as some key identifiers when it comes to human trafficking, so you and your employees can ensure workplace compliance.
