Americans with Disabilities Act for Managers

Designed for employees with direct reports and those involved in the hiring process, the Americans with Disabilities Act for Managers course explores how and why people with disabilities are discriminated against in the workplace. In this course, we’ll review the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and its amendments, who it covers and the protections it provides. We will also define what disability and reasonable accommodations mean under the Act. Finally, this course reviews best practices and provides helpful dos and don’ts to steer you in the right direction when it comes to non-discriminatory hiring practices.
