Ruling on Criminal Background Policies

Nearly one third of the population have a criminal record of some sort, and we need to understand the rights of the accused and the rights of a property owner. In this informative session, guidance will be given in how HUD rules and guidelines which affect fair housing protections, should be implemented in today’s fair housing environment. We will examine HUD’s memos and see what they mean for us today, and go over some “real world” examples to provide you with some hints to make your job easier.
