Ways to Increase your Emotional Intelligence is a course to help anyone improve their EQ. A person’s IQ (Intelligence Quotient) is a measure of their ability to solve problems and think logically. EQ (Emotional Intelligence Quotient) measures our ability to understand and manage emotions. When we increase our EQ we are able to recognize and control our own emotions, and understand the emotions of others. We can better manage our reactions to emotional situations, and respond more appropriately to the emotions of others. It is the single most important factor in our ability to build and sustain relationships. In this course psychologists Eve Ash and Peter Quarry explain how emotional intelligence helps us to manage our own emotions, build relationships, improve team collaboration, defuse conflict and improve job satisfaction. When we increase EQ we build stronger relationships, and are more successful at work.
