What information do you choose to consume? We all know that what we feed our bodies affects our energy levels and well-being - but most people don’t realize that the same can be said for what we feed our minds. This audio-only course is led by Dr. Cortland Dahl, a research scientist, meditation teacher, and Chief Contemplative Officer at HMI, along with Dr. Pelin Kesebir, a social psychologist interested in the study of happiness and virtue. In this lesson, you’ll reflect on how the information you feed your mind - from social media posts to news stories to TV - can influence your happiness. You’ll also discover how the content we share as a culture has been trending toward negativity for the last few decades. Finally, you’ll set goals to feed yourself more positive and inspiring information, all while being mindful of what kinds of information you consume. After this course, you’ll have the tools to align your information consumption with your wellness goals.
