Being fully present is an important quality of mindfulness, and the ability to savor the present moment is something we can intentionally learn and practice. This audio-only course is led by Rev. Dr. Ronné Wingate Sims, an ordained Baptist minister, speaker, teacher, and activist who creates culturally relevant healing spaces for those working through intergenerational and ongoing trauma. In this course, Dr. Ronné Wingate Sims will teach you about intentions and why they are key in a mindfulness practice. You will then engage in mindfulness exercises to tune into your body sensations, including the breath, sound, and vision. After this course, you will be prepared to embrace a more purposeful life by setting an intention for a daily activity.
