Offshore Dangerous Goods

This Offshore Dangerous Goods Awareness Training course is designed to meet the training requirements for helideck crews, helicopter flight dispatchers, ground operations and heliport security staff.

This course has been developed in accordance with Part 1, Chapter 1.4 of the ICAO Technical Instructions and sub section 1.5 of the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations, Category 7, 8 or 9.

This Offshore DG Awareness course aims to raise the awareness of the threat of Dangerous Goods to offshore helicopter operations. Learners will get a full understanding of the required Legislation, identification and classification of DG, handling, loading and emergency procedures amongst others of dangerous goods in an offshore environment.
