Blood glucose testing is a procedure used to measure a client’s level of glucose in order to evaluate effects of medication, diet, and exercise and to keep blood glucose levels under control to prevent complications. Be sure to check with the nurse and the plan of care to determine how often a client needs their blood glucose checked and what‚It’s the normal range for the client.
